Romans 12:1-8
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship.
Ohhhh how this is true. The greatest thing we can do for God is offer ourselves to Him. To live for Him, for His good, pleasing and perfect will. Worship isn't just singing/playing a couple songs on Sunday... worship is so much more than that. Sitting in awe of God's beautiful creation is worship. Spreading God's word is worship. Our lives should be so full of worship that we don't know anything else.
4 Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.
The Church. Not the building you go to on Sunday, but the Church as a whole. A family. A body. We are all in this together, and together we should be. Each of us has a different role, a different strength, a different talent... but we all have the same purpose. So it is our responsibility to put our many different talents and strengths together to fulfill our common purpose.
Before we can come and live out our purpose together, we have to offer ourselves fully to God. We must be living sacrifices. We must be living acts of worship.
