Life: January 2011

I spent so much time and energy planning my apartment. Making everything perfect for the time I would spend here. Now I come to find out it will be a lot shorter than I had expected. My time here. In four months I will be packing everything up and moving. Moving to a different state. A different life. A forever adventure. I couldn't be more elated. People who know me can see my smile. They see my glow. They know I am happy. Truly happy with life. God is taking me somewhere great, and I knew it was coming. I predicted a big change... I just didn't know what that change would be. It has happened. I have fallen in love with a place, a people, a hope, and a promise. I have fallen in love with this great optimism. A great understanding that God is good, therefore life is good. I am a feather blowing in the wind of my Father's breath. He is changing my life, because I asked Him to. I asked for something new, something great. I was told that this would be my year. Apparently that person was right. I am so excited to see what happens in the next four months. And I am especially excited to see what happens at the fifth month. Jesus is my Lord and He loves me. He takes me from glory to glory. He provides. He is faithful. He is unexpected. He is good. So good. My dirt road adventure is taking a turn onto a slightly more fulfilling scenic route. I plan to document ;)


Dear God,
Thank you for listening to my prayers and requests. Thank you for knowing me better than I know myself. Thank you for having so many beautiful adventures planned for me. Thank you for romancing me with life. Thank you for the place in life I find myself right now. And thank you for staying by my side the entire journey here.
There is a new season coming. This journey will not have a destination... just a transfer to a new journey. I look forward to taking every step with you. Hand in hand with you, my creator. You are the lover of all lovers and you captivate my heart.

This Is It.

Kind of like the Michael Jackson movie... but way more relevant to my life and way more epic. Needless to say, I'm excited and can't stop smiling.
God amazes me all the freaking time!

Brighter Than Sunshine

Something feels certain to me right now, change. A change is coming in my life. I can sense a growth period. A time where I dig deep into the Word to find out who God is in my life and who I am in Him. The way I spend my time is already changing. It is becoming more focused. And it feels to good to me. To let go of the things that are putting my life on hold is so refreshing! It is empowering.
Jesus gave His life for me. The only thing I can possibly do is live my life for Him. There is no other option, and to not have to worry about making that decision is so incredibly freeing. There is no stress because I know I am God's girl. I am a daughter of the King. WOW! Life just got so much brighter.
I can't wait to see what my Heavenly Father has in store for me. We go from glory to glory. Which means it just keeps getting better with God.

Tomorrow I will be on my way to Idaho. The drive to Reno will be amazing, because Jesus is going to be riding shotgun. The flight from Reno to Boise will be magical, because my soul is going to be partying with the Holy Spirit. And the four days in Idaho are going to be powerful, because God is going to be working His amazing magic.
Watch out Idaho, and world, here I come... because I have the best security system with me!

My Mom is the Greatest!

Have you ever dreaded unclogging a toilet?

Of course you have! It isn't very pretty, and it smells awful! Well, I may have found the solution for you. Actually... my mother may have found the solution for you. This is sure to block all questionable odors from being inhaled into your lungs.

All you need is some paper towels (folded like ^^^)
and a clothes pin to hold it together behind your head.

If you aren't fond of plain white, you have always spend the extra 30 cents for printed paper or use come markers and glitter to decorate your nose guard. It's so versatile!

Butchers, Bakers & Candlestick Makers

I've been knitting. Knitting and thinking. I've come to realize that I am surrounded by so many talented, creative, and beautiful people. It is really amazing actually. I kind of took it for granted. My community of friends is truly a group of beautiful individuals. Beautiful minds. Beautiful hearts. I am so blessed. I am so thankful.


They are: Actors. Singers. Musicians. Painters. Taggers. Photographers. Makeup artists. Film makers. Chefs. Terrarium makers. Knitters. Crochet-ers. Hair stylists. Dancers.

All artists. All breathtaking.

So many ideas, so many thoughts!

6. Having friends over more often because tonight was amazing.
7. Idaho in 8 days!!!
8. Possible location change. Just an idea.

There are so many possibilities for life right now! I feel so alive!
